16-Year-Old Boy Pronounced Dead after Bicycle crash near Driver RoadBAKERSFIELD, CA (October 5, 2023) – Early Saturday, a bicycle accident claimed the life of a 16-year-old boy on Cecil Avenue.Emergency responders arrived at the scene at approximately 7:36 p.m. on September 30th, just east of Driver Road. According to reports, a 2019 Ford traveling westbound collided with a bicyclist under unknown circumstances.The impact sent the cyclist onto the road. The driver of the Ford continued northwestward until colliding with a wooden telephone pole, and finally coming to a halt in a nearby dirt field.Shortly after, the 16-year-old boy riding the bicycle was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity remains undisclosed to the public until his next of kin is notified. 52-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after a Deadly DUI Hit-and-Run Incident near Sahara AvenueLAS VEGAS, NV (October 5, 2023) – On Tuesday afternoon, one person died in a crash near Valley View Boulevard and Sahara Avenue.The incident occurred just after 3:00 p.m., September 19th, involving a 52-year-old pedestrian and a 2014 Toyota Corolla.Investigation showed that the pedestrian was walking along the west side of the northbound South Valley View Boulevard when they entered the path of the Toyota causing him to be struck and left injured on the roadway.Furthermore, the Toyota immediately drove away from the scene just before the authorities arrived but it was later found moments later.Moreover, authorities arrested the 25-year-old driver of the Toyota. DUBLIN — Two real estate firms have teamed up to buy a huge chunk of East Bay land that is being eyed as the site of a large housing development in eastern Dublin consisting of several hundred residences.Trumark Homes and Arroyo Capital Partners, acting through affiliates, have bought 162 acres of land on Croak Road in Dublin, paying $164 million for the property, according to documents filed on Sept. 29 with the Alameda County Recorder’s Office.Croak Properties, an affiliate of the Croak family that had owned the property, sold the land to an affiliate of Trumark Homes for $164 million. (KRON) -- One person was killed Thursday morning in a stabbing at a mobile home park in Union City, according to the Union City Police Department. Officers were dispatched to the Tropics Mobile Home Park located at 33000 Almaden Boulevard on a report of a person being stabbed. Thieves targeting drivers at gas stations, East Bay police agency warns At the scene, officers found three victims with injuries. One of the victims was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two others were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.The suspect has not been located and remains at large, according to police.
