CHICAGO — Surveillance video has been released by Chicago police of three suspects wanted in the slaying of a security guard outside of a Chatham store last week.On the afternoon of Dec. 20 at around 1 p.m., officers responded to DTLR, located in the 700 block of East 87th Street, on the report of a shooting.Edward "Fontaine" Creamer, 53, of Calumet City, who was working as a security guard for the store at the time, was involved in an altercation with two males and a female.CPD said one of the suspects shot Creamer three times. He later died at the University of Chicago Medical Center. DEL VALLE, Texas (KXAN) -- One person died Thursday after a crash involving a motorcycle near Del Valle High School, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. ATCEMS said on social media at 11:23 a.m. medics pronounced one adult dead on the scene of a crash at 5100 Ross Road, which is near the high school. According to ATCEMS, the crash involved a motorcycle and a vehicle. No other people were reported injured, ATCEMS said. AUSTIN (KXAN) – The Texas Third Court of Appeals denied Attorney General Ken Paxton’s request for an emergency stay of impending depositions in the whistleblower lawsuit that sparked his impeachment this year, according to a Wednesday court filing.The whistleblower plaintiffs are seeking depositions of Paxton, First Assistant Attorney General Brent Webster, Chief of Staff Lesley French Henneke, and Senior Advisor to the Attorney General Michelle Smith, according to a writ.The lawsuit began in 2020 after several former officials in Paxton’s office became whistleblowers and reported Paxton to the FBI for alleged misconduct. Minnesota United said Thursday it has loaned left back Ethan Bristow out to Stockport County of England’s League Two for the 2024 season.Bristow was brought to Minnesota last July but struggled defensively in MLS, and the 22-year-old Englishman played a total of 541 minutes across nine games in 2023.Bristow was benched at halftime of the 5-1 loss to Los Angeles FC on Oct. 4, and manager Adrian Heath was fired after that game. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Pine Plains man was arrested Saturday on an active warrant out of Hudson City Court. According to Hudson Police, Ryan Winters, 39, pilfered over $85,000 from a company's bank account without their knowledge while working as a contractor. On October 14, a victim reported to the City of Hudson Police Department that a large sum of money had been stolen from his company's bank account without him knowing. Police say the theft spanned back from November 15, 2022, through October 6, 2023. Winters is accused of taking over $85,000 from the account. Police say Winters forged several checks from the victim's account and made several unauthorized credit card purchases. At the time of the crime, Winters was an independent contractor working for the victim's family business.
