(WREG) — Police say a man who broke into three Memphis homes in one night didn't take anything but left behind a trail of blood and some terrorized homeowners.Investigators have released surveillance pictures of the suspect they said injured himself breaking through the front window of a home in the 4300 block of Shady Grove Road on June 27. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man has been sentenced for attempted murder, according to the Albany County District Attorney's Office. Demetries Smith, 35, faces 75 years to life in state prison. His charges included first-degree attempted murder, two counts of second-degree attempted murder, first-degree attempted robbery, and three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The indictment alleged that on October 6, 2021, Smith attempted to cause the death of a victim during an attempted robbery in the area of 32 North Swan Street in Albany. Smith, along with a co-defendant, was additionally accused of attempting to cause the death of a second person on October 13, 2021 in the area of 604 Livingston Avenue. ST. LOUIS - One man is hospitalized after he was beaten and carjacked in a violent attack Friday evening near a St. Louis gas station.The attack happened around 8 p.m. Friday near the intersection of South Broadway and Osceola Street in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood. Police say a 61-year-old man is hospitalized after several lacerations to his head, but his exact condition was not disclosed. Before that, three suspects had reportedly been asking his girlfriend for money, but she declined. When the victim arrived, one man snatched his car keys and attempted to get away. The victim then tackled that suspect and the two were engaged in a struggle on the ground. As that unfolded, a gun fell out of the suspect's pants, and it was retrieved by a female suspect. (KRON) -- An attempted armed robbery resulted in a fatal shooting in a Brentwood neighborhood on Friday night, according to the Brentwood Police Department. Video: Toppled tree injures six people in Santa Rosa park Police say a group of people were leaving a residence on Chili Court when two suspects (a 17-year-old Antioch boy and a 20-year-old man from Walnut Creek) attempted to rob one of them using a gun. The victim, a 21-year-old from Antioch, was also armed with a gun, and the three began shooting at each other. The shooting occurred on Marjoram Drive, and the 17-year-old suspect and 21-year-old victim were both struck by gunfire. The 20-year-old suspect was not injured in the shooting. A total of three firearms were found at the scene. The teenage suspect was taken to an area hospital where he lated died of his injuries, police confirmed to KRON4. (KRON) -- Police are searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident that left multiple people injured and sent pedestrians running on July 8, the Napa Police Department said. Six people injured after tree topples over at Santa Rosa park Surveillance video of the incident shows a white SUV traveling east on First Street, through the intersection at Main Street. As the white SUV passes through the intersection, a black sedan traveling north down Main Street drives around two cars stopped at the red light.
